To spread the message of love & peace, Pink Chain Foundation in association with Music Today brings the singing sensation, Shafqat Amanat Ali to perform for a noble cause. The concert will take place at Eros Hilton, Nehru Place, New Delhi on 23rd March 2012.
Shafqat Amanat Ali – the Rockstar Ustad (A term coined by Bollywood music director Salim Merchant) is the biggest singing sensation to hit the subcontinent in recent times. He is the son of the legendary Pakistani singer Ustad Amanat Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali was the lead vocalist of the popular Pakistani band – Fuzon. The songs - "Mora Saiyan" and "Tere Bina" are also featured in Nagesh Kukunoor's Hyderabad Blues 2. Shafqat, of Mitwa and Yeh Hausla fame, has more recently sung for movies such as Hello (Caravan), My Name is Khan (Tere Naina), I Hate Luv Stories (Bin Tere), Aashayein (Shukriya Zindagi), Patiala House (Kyun Main Jaagoon), Ra One (Dildaara) and Jodi Breakers (Darmiyan). Music Today launched Shafqat’s solo albums “Tabeer” & “Kyun Dooriyan” which were chartbusters.
