JAN MADHYAM'S AUSTRALIAN SPRING FAIR

Start with a stroll in the lush garden, warm yourself in the sun, let the children play games and get their faces painted, shop and get yourself exhausted and finish the day off with some great food and beer at the Spring Fair, and you have got the making for a whole day of family fun,With support of PINK CHAIN FOUNDATION the festivities start at 10 30a.m. on Saturday, February 4th at one of the most awaited fairs in Delhi, at the Australian High Commissioners Residence. The fair will be inaugurated by His Excellency, the Australian High Commissioner, Petrer Varghese at 11:00 am.

The Australian Spring Fair, which started in 2000, is one of te most attended fairs in Delhi. The one day event has become a regular feature for the 5000 people that attend and participate in it and the numbers keep growing every year.

Pink Chain Foundation’s mantra is to empower, encourage and inspire people , to create and participate in events that will raise funds and spread awareness, for charitable causes The Foundation has been organized exclusively for charitable awareness and educational and scientific purposes and therefore supports Jan- Madhyam for its educational scholarship program .The event is a celebration for the efforts that Jan Madhyam puts all year round helping to rehabilitate underprivileged, challenged children and also an opportunity to raise funds and create awareness for the cause. Jan Madhyam has been working towards inclusion of persons with disability in to the mainstream and steering them towards a productive and fulfilling life since 1985. More than 5000 children and adults have benefited from Jan Madhyam's training, outreach and awareness programmes over just the last three years. Today Jan Madhyam works in depth with about 250 challenged persons and their families around Delhi.
